I took a series of photos of a couple sat drinking tea in the cafe on the beach. This is a sketch from one of these I have used a blue water colour pencil for the detail and then used washes of water on certain parts of the drawing to create some shading and to create a slightly different tone. I think it is successful but it wouldn't represent Avon Beach on it's own without some kind of reference to the the beach itself.
